Doing more with less is the underlying principle driving the design at HighGround in Denman Prospect. By maximising the site’s potential and utilising the steep natural form, the development is broken down into a series of human scaled buildings. Each block steps up the slope, providing each dwelling with views over the other without sense of overlooking or being overlooked. Communal spaces nestle between blocks provide spaces for interaction with neighbours and provide complimentary landscaping and deep-root planting zones.

Each block offers a different unit typology, providing housing choice and diversity for homeowners. With 3-bedroom townhouses, 2-bedroom townhouses, as well as 1, 2 and 3 bedroom apartments, HighGround seeks to provide an option for a variety of living situations.

Each dwelling, whether it be townhouse or apartment, is designed with livability, efficiency, and warmth in mind.  All living spaces are flooded with natural light from the northern aspect, while balconies and terraces extend the living spaces and offer views over the Molonglo Valley.

The exterior material tones are warm and fresh with clean lines providing a flattering backdrop for the landscaping. Interiors are inspired by natural materials and warm undertones; think raw cotton, leather, and charred timber. The differing schemes have been curated to create texture and richness using materials that bring a sense of approachable luxury.
